Whether you own a large estate or a private garden, I can carry out regular maintenance work throughout the year so that your garden can be up to the same standard as the National Trusts Gardens that I have managed in the past.

I can undertake a wide variety of horticultural tasks such as maintaining herbaceous borders, managing lawns, clearing leaves, pruning trees and shrubs, or hedge cutting.

You may only require a one off visit for a quick annual tidy up in the autumn or spring, or need help in getting your garden ready for a garden party or special event,

I am available to help wherever I can.

Herbaceous borders

I can help maintain your herbaceous beds throughout the year, from staking the plants in spring, dead heading in the summer, and lifting and dividing in the winter. I have also created beds from new, designing, planting and providing aftercare to help get them established.

My years of experience has meant that I have cut hedges from formal parterres, knott gardens and informal native hedges. I've also experience of maintaining topiary features such as sprials, birds and box pyramids

Shrub maintenance

Over the years I have learnt the correct methods to prune a variety of different shrubs at the right time of year. This varies from annual pruning, pruning to improve shape and height, or removal of any dead, dying and diseased shoots.

Wild meadow management

I love to see wildlife in the garden and creating and managing wild meadows is something I enjoy doing. I can help you create and manage your own wild meadow to help encourage more insects and bees to your garden
